Rounding out our offerings will be this heart stopping racing film set back in 1963 filmed on location in Wilkes County, North Carolina.

LOG LINE


After their father, a racecar driver, is killed in a fiery crash, two brothers begin a fundraising campaign to save the Wilkesboro racetrack he loved and restore the local economy, but when their efforts fail, one brother starts to run moonshine for quick cash, while the older brother, a sheriff, investigates the mysterious and sudden spike in illegal activity, unknowingly pursuing his brother through the winding dirt roads of their county until a chase spills onto the Wilkesboro racetrack and the younger brother crashes in the same spot his father did, revealing the truth and giving their father’s lifelong friend, the racetrack manager, who was unable to save their father that fateful night, the chance to save his son and perpetuate his friend’s legacy.


Created and written by Tanille Yow Ulm, Rick Balentine and Mark Rickerby of Temple Gate Films this exciting family friendly film is centered around the love of racing, the love of family, and the drive to bring back racing to the North Wilkesboro Speedway and revitalize a local economy.
